Information
Clove oil is extracted from the leaves and buds of clove (Eugenia caryophyllata or Syzygium aromaticum). The oil has no colour or it has light yellow colour and typical clove scent. It is a clear liquid without precipitates. It does not contain added solvents, preservatives, dyes or antioxidants.
The main component of clove iol is eugenol.
Usage
It is used in cosmetics. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.
