Cinnamon extract from the bark of true cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum or Cinnamomum verum) in propylene glycol. The extract has an intense smell of cinnamon. It is a brown, slightly viscous liquid. A small amount of precipitate is not a quality defect. The smell of cinnamon orginates from: ethyl-cinnamate, eugenol, beta-caryophyllene, linalool and methyl-chavicol.
Usage
It is primarily used for cosmetic purposes, e.g. creams, lotions and soaps. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.
