Potassium carbonate K2CO3, a trivial name of potash, is a salt of carbonic acid. It is produced by reacting potassium hydroxide with carbon dioxide.Usage
It is mainly used in the production of glass, in the textile and paper industry, in agriculture as a fertilizer or even for the preparation of strong poison of potassium cyanide. It is also used in organic synthesis or in rapid neutralization if too basic environment is not to be used.
