Information
Camphor oil is extracted from the wood and leaves of camphor tree by steam distillation. The oil has brownish yellow colour and typical camphor scent (similar to menthol). It is a clear liquid without precipitates. It does not contain added solvents, preservatives, dyes or antioxidants.
The main ingredients of the camphor oil are: safrol, acetaldehyde, camphor, terpineol, eugenol, eucalyptol (cineol), δ-pinene, phellandrene, limonene and cadine.
Usage
It is used for cosmetic purposes, e.g. for creams, soaps. In case of cosmetic usage at large concentration can cause skin irritation. The applied concentration in cosmetic products should not go beyond 3-6%. The suitability of usage should be tested by the producer of the final product.

Toxicological information
At larger concentration may cause skin irritation. Found allergenes: d-limonene (around 30%). No microorganisms neither their toxins were found in the product, it was not produced from genetically modified organisms.
